secunet and Astaro form partnership

secunet Security Networks and Astaro have established a partnership to jointly develop and distribute IT security products.

The first product of the partnership is the new secunet wall 2, which will be presented at this year’s CeBIT show.

secunet says the product is a security gateway which unites several security technologies in a single device. These security functions include a firewall, intrusion prevention, anti-spam and –phishing capabilities, email encryption, single sign-on, clustering and two anti-virus scanners. secunet says all security functions of the wall 2 are controlled from a common web interface. The system is to be certified according to Common Criteria EAL4+ standard.
