Entrust partners with TTL

22/02/11

Entrust has established a partnership with Bangladesh-based Tusuka Technotrade Limited (TTL) to focus on providing identity-based security solutions in the government, financial and enterprise markets.

“Bangladesh is one of the world’s emerging markets and TTL will prove a valuable asset as we help organisations in the country deploy identity-based security solutions,” says Bill Conner, president and chief executive officer, Entrust. “Its expertise of the market and local technology needs will help place Entrust solutions top-of-mind when organisations are faced with difficult security challenges.”

Bangladesh is one of the ‘Next Eleven’ economies, a collection of countries noted by Goldman Sachs for having the highest potential of becoming one of the world’s largest economies in the 21st century. It is joined in the Next Eleven by Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, Turkey and Vietnam — half of which Entrust currently has a market presence.

“This partnership will give us a tremendous opportunity to jointly increase the footprint of efficient security and identity management solutions in Bangladesh,” says Faisal Chowdhury, chairman, TTL.

Entrust says that adding TTL as a value-added reseller will also help it assist government offices and departments in Bangladesh with the Digital Bangladesh movement. “Entrust technology will enable businesses to leverage existing infrastructure, as well as take advantage of proven solutions, for performance they can rely on. We will collaborate to assess, design, implement and optimise the security and identification solutions, and help maximise value, for our customers,” says Tawfiq Hassan, project manager, TTL.
