connect:ID 2017 reveals keynote line-up

The organisers of next-generation identity technology event connect:ID 2017 have announced three senior US government officials who will feature as keynote speakers in the show’s conference.

Kevin K. McAleenan is Acting Commissioner for US Customs and Border Protection, Congressman Michael T. McCaul (TX-10) is Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, and John P. Wagner is Deputy Executive Assistant Commissioner, Office of Field Operations for US Customs and Border Protection.

Powered by Science Media Partners and the International Biometrics + Identity Association (IBIA), the conference and exhibition will be held from May 1-3, 2017 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC.  

"We are delighted to welcome three distinguished speakers to the connect:ID 2017 conference line up", wrote the organisers in a statement.

"Together they will be playing leading roles in helping to legislate for, design, and implement important new systems to enhance and facilitate border management and security in the United States".

The influential speakers join a packed line up of expert presenters at connect:ID, where next-generation identity technologies, solutions, and issues will be presented and debated.
