Proven Identity Checking services now in UK govt’s Digital Marketplace

08/06/17

Following an application for its NSL Valid8 services to be included on the UK Government’s Digital Marketplace, NSL can now confirm both its self-service and managed service identity checking solutions have been assessed and accepted onto the latest G Cloud framework.

The Digital Marketplace provides all types of public sector organisations with a highly efficient and reliable platform for buying IT-related services through a pre-agreed framework contract. It is a much faster and cheaper approach than a using a conventional procurement contract with an individual supplier.

The NSL Valid8 identity checking services are now available on G Cloud 9 as either a self-service cloud-based model in the framework’s ‘Cloud Software’ category, or a managed service through the ‘Cloud Support’ category.

NSL Valid8 enables users to authenticate identity documents using market–leading systems from Keesing Technologies. Verification is undertaken automatically and within seconds using a reference database of over 5,000 identity document types including passports, biometric residence permits, ID cards, driving licences and visas.

The automated self-service option enables non-specialists to verify documents from over 200 different jurisdictions within seconds, with the added reassurance of dedicated expert Help Desk support. The managed service option is an addition or alternative to self-service. It comprises a fully trained and dedicated team at NSL Checking who undertake all relevant checks to establish if an individual has provided authentic and sufficient evidence to secure the right to work or rent, or to access services or restricted locations.

“We’re absolutely delighted to be accepted onto G Cloud 9,” says Craig Scott, Head of Service at NSL Checking, who have been providing proven and cutting edge identity checking services for organisations across the public sector for many years.  “The Government’s Digital Marketplace is an increasingly popular and convenient platform for public sector organisations to source and secure specialist cloud services. I have no doubt our successful application will introduce other Government departments, local authorities and a host of other public sector organisations and devolved administrations to the benefits of our comprehensive identity checking solutions.”

“Keesing Technologies is very pleased to be able to participate in the UK’s Government Digital Marketplace via its local partner NSL,” states Daniel Suess, Commercial Director at Amsterdam based Keesing Technologies. “The acceptance of Keesing’s and NSL’s services for the validation of national and international Identity Documents to the G Cloud Framework creates strong trust and will ultimately help public sector organisations to assess Identity Documents from virtually every country worldwide with state of the art technology.”
