GSSC nets US deal

Graphic Security Systems Corporation (GSSC) has been selected by the US Department of State (DoS) to supply and integrate its steganographic technology and software for the US Passport Card.

According to the company, the contract award is part of DoS’ mandate to increase the level of security and fraud-detection capabilities for the Passport Card.

GSSC says it has provided its steganographic technology to government agencies, security printing firms and major corporations for almost 30 years. The company owns 23 US patents and many additional patents worldwide in the steganographic area. These patents cover embedding, scrambling, hiding, encoding and decoding methods and software, as well as optical and digital authentication devices.
