Prooftag builds global footprint

French document security firm Prooftag has opened an office in Asia to help it develop its presence in the region.

The company has also appointed Tony Belasco as regional sales manager. Belasco will be based in the new office in Bangkok. A spokesperson for the company told SDW that sales activities will be carried out from the office, but Prooftag also plans to develop local partners.

The spokesperson also revealed that Prooftag is opening a new sales office in Colombia to serve the south American market. Felipe Castro, a new member of the company’s international sales team will head operations in the region.
