CLEAR hits the half million mark

14 March 2012

Travellers through Orlando and Denver International Airports have used CLEAR, the US biometric secure ID programme, more than half a million times. The half million member verification milestone was reached on 12 March 2012.
CLEAR speeds its members through airport security, using biometric technology to expedite their travel and take them out of the usual long lines.
In addition to lanes at Denver and Orlando, CLEAR expects to launch services at San Francisco International Airport in the second quarter of this year.
CLEAR membership costs US$179 for one year with unlimited use. Members can add their partner to their account with the Family Plan for an additional US$50. All children under 18 can use the CLEARlane free of charge, and with no enrolment necessary, when accompanied by an adult member.
