GlobalPlatform, the organisation which standardises the management of applications on secure chip technology, has welcomed its latest Observer Member, UBIVELOX. The South Korean smart chip developer operates across the government, finance, mobile and transport markets.

In joining GlobalPlatform, UBIVELOX will participate in the GlobalPlatform Advisory Council and Task Force initiatives, contributing its market and industry knowledge of chip development.

“It is essential for us to keep up to date with the latest market trends and specifications; GlobalPlatform is the perfect place to do just that,” says David Yang, CEO of UBIVELOX. “We are now working to align our card products with the GlobalPlatform Card Specification v2.2 in order to continue to supply our customers with the most cutting edge technology.”
